• Emerging technologies in pharmaceutical development and industrial pharmacy;
• Preformulation evaluation of pharmaceutical materials;
• Drug delivery technology (oral, inhalation, injectable, buccal, etc);
• Aerosols;
• Transdermals;
• Oral controlled release systems;

• Biotechnology specifically related to pharmaceutical technology, and targeted drug delivery;
• Research process engineering and scale-up of drug delivery systems;

• Methodologies, including statistical design/optimization;
• Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Quality Assurance (QA);
