| Siksha 'O' Anusandhan Deemed to be University, with eight institutes committed to quality education and research in their respective subjects, has been in the forefront of quality education keeping in mind the global industrial needs. The University understands this and has been happily responding to the trends and demands of the present era. It has adopted a dynamic approach to address the changing needs of students. The teaching, learning and evaluation processes in all the eight institutes have been geared towards this end.The Institute of Medical Sciences and SUM Hospital, where 100 students get admission to study medicine every year, has turned out to be a people-centric facility catering to the needs of scores of people daily even as the faculty, researchers and doctors endeavour to break new grounds in treating patients. The newly opened Pain Clinic, Psoriasis Clinic and Geriatric Assessment Clinic in the hospital are designed to aid people in physical distress while the addition of a Cath Lab has been timely. The University renews its commitment to its vision and mission. |
