ADMISSION TEST–2010 (SAAT-2010)
Third Siksha O Anusandhan University Admission Test
(SAAT-2010) will be held on 9th May 2010 at 52 centres
located in 36 cities throughout India. The University offers
a variety of programmes. SAAT – 2010 will be conducted to
select successful candidates for admission into different
programmes as mentioned below.
1.1. BACHELOR DEGREE PROGRAMMES :
i) Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in different
branches of engineering at ITER.
ii) Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS)
at IMS & SH.
iii) Bachelor of Dental Sciences (BDS) at IDS.
iv) Bachelor of Pharmacy (B. Pharm.) at SPS.
v) Bachelor of Hotel Management & Catering
Technology (BHMCT) at SHM.
vi) Bachelor of Science (Basic B.Sc. & Post Basic
B.Sc.) in Nursing at SNC.
1.2. MASTER DEGREE PROGRAMMES :
a) Master of Technology (M.Tech.) in Civil Engineering,
Computer Science & Engineering, Computer
Science & Data Processing, Applied Electronics &
Instrumentation Engineering, Electronics &
Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering,
Electronics & Electrical Engineering, Mechanical
Engineering, Information Technology and
Biotechnology at ITER.

b) Master of Computer Applications (MCA) at ITER.
c) Master of Business Administration (MBA) at IBCS.
d) Master of Hospital Administration (MHA) at
IBCS.
e) Master of Hospitality & Tourism Management
(MHTM) at SHM.
f) Master of Pharmacy (M.Pharm) in Pharmaceutics,
Pharmaceutical Analysis & Quality Assurance,
Pharmacology & Pharmacognosy at SPS.
g) Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Industrial
Bio-technology at CBT.
h) Master of Science in Nursing (M.Sc. Nursing) in
Medical & Surgical Nursing, Community Health
Nursing, Mental Health Nursing, Child Health Nursing
and Obstetric & Gynecological Nursing at SNC.
1.3. LATERAL ENTRY PROGRAMMES :
Under Lateral Entry (LE) scheme 10% of intake
capacity of previous year in appropriate discipline
and carry forward vacant seats of 1st year of
Engineering / Pharmacy / Hotel Management / B.Sc.
Nursing will be filled up at the 2nd year level. These
seats will be over and above the intake capacity.
