For Bachelor Degree Programmes
Pass or appearing (in the year 2017) at 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects alongwith one of the following subjects : Chemistry / Computer Science / Information Technology /Biotechnology / Biology / Informatics / Statistics or any other subject as approved by appropriate authority. (AS PER AICTE NORMS)
Pass or appearing at 10+2 examination (2017) with pass mark in individual subjects - English, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics / Biology as per statutory norms.
Pass or appearing at 10+2 examination (2017) in any discipline with atleast 45% marks (40% in case of SC / ST / OBC category)
d) B.Sc. in in Agriculture
Pass or appearing at 10+2 examination (2017) with not less than 50% marks in aggregate for admission under general and OBC categories, 40% marks in aggregate for admission under SC, ST and PH categories, with PCM/PCB/PCMB subject combinations. Pass in English in the 10+2 examination is essential.
Age Limit: The lower age limit is 17 years and the upper age limit is 23 years as on 31.12.2017
e) B.Sc. in Nursing (Basic)
Pass or appearing at 10+2 examination (2017) with at least 45% marks in aggregate (Physics, Chemistry & Biology taken together) and 40% marks in aggregate for SC / ST / OBC candidates. and must have passed in English.
Age Limit : The lower age limit is 17 years as on 31.12.2017.
f) Post Basic B.Sc. in Nursing (Post Basic)
Passed GNM examination, and registered with concerned State Nursing Council.
g) Five years integrated B.A. LLB. (Hons) and B.B.A. LLB. (Hons) Programme
Pass or appearing (2017) the 10+2 or equivalent in any stream with atleast 45% marks. Relaxable to 40% in case of SC/ST. Candidate should not have completed 20 years of age as on 1st August 2017. The upper age limit shall be relaxed by a period of 2(two) years for SC and ST candidates.
Pass or appearing (2017) the 10+2 or equivalent in any stream.
For Master Degree Programmes
Pass or appearing in B.E. / B.Tech / AMIE /MCA/M.Sc.in the respective discipline or equivalent. Candidateshaving MCA and M.Sc. (Maths) degree are eligible for M.Tech in Comp. Sc. & Data Processing. Candidates with M.Sc. (Electronics) are eligible for M.Tech. in Electronics & Communication Engineering and M.Tech. in Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering. M.Sc. in Computer Science and IT are eligible for M.Tech. in Computer Science & Engineering and CS & IT respectively. A candidate with B.Tech. (Environmental / Chemical / Civil / Mechanical / Metallurgy) or M.Sc. (Environmental Science / Chemistry / Biotechnology / Geology / Life Science / Botany / Zoology) is eligible for M.Tech. in Environmental Science & Technology. For M.Tech. Material Science & Technology candidate must have M.Sc. (Physics) / M.Sc. (Chemistry) / B.Tech. (Electronics & Communication Engg.) / B.Tech (Electrical Engg.)
For M.Tech. in Biotechnology, candidates having B.Tech./B.E. in Biotechnology or related fields / M.Sc. in Physics, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Life Science or equivalent / MBBS / B.Pharm./B.Sc. with Biology as a subject at +2 level are eligible. For admission to M.Tech, candidates have to pass the qualifying examination with atleast 50% marks.
GATE qualified candidates are exempted from the entrance test, but they have to submit the filled up form. Admission into M.Tech. programmes will be done on the basis of performance in SAAT-2017 or valid GATE score.
Pass or appearing (in the year 2017) at three year Bachelor Degree in any discipline from any recognized University with atleast 50% of marks (45% in case of candidates belonging to SC / ST / OBC Category) having Mathematics at 10+2 level or at +3 level.
Candidates having Business mathematics at +2 or +3 level are not eligible.
c) MBA / MHA / MHM / MTTM
Pass or appearing (2017) three year Bachelor Degree in Science, Commerce and Arts/B.E./B.Tech./MBBS/B.Pharm./B.Sc.Agri./BVSC/BHMS/BAMS/BDS/BPT/BHMCT/ BBA/BCA examination or equivalent in 2016 from any recognised University with atleast 50% marks (45% in case of candidates belonging to SC/ ST/OBC category).
Pass or appearing (2017) at B.Pharm examination from any recognized University with atleast 50% marks.
GPAT qualified candidates are exempted from the entrance test, but they have to submit the filled up form.
e) M.Sc. All (Biotechnology / Nano Science & Nano Technology / Medicinal & Aromatic Plants / Molecular Biology / Chemical Biology & Drug Design, Applied Chemistry, Applied Physics, Applied Mathematics)
For M.Sc. Biotechnology / Nano Science & Nano Technology / Medicinal & Aromatic Plants / Molecular Biology /Applied Chemistry/ Physics/ Mathematics pass or appearing (2017) at three year Bachelor degree in Science OR four year Bachelor course in Agriculture / Pharmacy / Veterinary / Engineering / Technology / Medicine (MBBS/BDS) / Physics / Chemistry / Mathematics from any recongnised University with atleast 50% marks (45% incase of candidates belonging to SC / ST / OBC category). Hons is respective courses in regular. For M.Sc. in Chemical Biology & Drug Design the candidates should have B.Sc. Chemistry (Honours) / B.Tech in Chemical Engineering / B.Pharm / M.Pharm with atleast 50% marks (45% incase of candidates belonging to SC / ST / OBC category).
f) M.Sc. in Nursing
Passed B.Sc. Nursing (Basic/Post Basic) Degree with 55% aggregate from an Institution recognized by Indian Nursing Council with a minimum of one year experience either in teaching or clinical area after registration in respective State Nursing Council as a Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife.
Passed or appering 2017 bacholor degree in Law or studied integrated law courses or equivalent thereof, from any recognise university securing 50% mark in aggregate.
For Lateral Entry Programmes
a) Admission to 2nd year Degree Programme in Engineering, Pharmacy & Hotel Management for Diploma holders :
Pass or appearing (in the year 2017) at three year diploma course in Engineering / Pharmacy and Hotel Management respectively with at least 60% marks in aggregate from State Council of Technical Education and Vocational Training (SCTE&VT), Odisha or equivalent.
For Pharmacy, pass or appearing (in the year 2017) at two year diploma course in Pharmacy with minimum 60% marks in aggregate from State Board of Pharmacy (SBP) or SCTE&VT, Odisha, or equivalent.
b) Lateral Entry MCA
Pass or appearing (in the year 2017) in three year Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA), B.Sc. in Information Technology (H) and B.Sc. in Computer Science (H) with atleast 60% of marks in aggregate or 60% in honours with minimum 50% marks in pass subject from any recognized University.
c) Choice of Discipline:
Candidates having Diploma in Engineering indicated under Column – I are eligible for admission into the corresponding discipline only mentioned under Column – II (Appendix - XV). Candidates will appear a common paper in the entrance test and the branch allotment will be done during the counselling as per Appendix-XV.
NOTE: Candidates appearing at the qualifying examination (in the year 2017) may also apply. But, they have to produce the pass certificate of the qualifying examination with pass mark in individual appropriate subjects as mentioned for different programmes on the day of counselling, failing which the rank / position secured in the entrance examination will stand cancelled automatically and they will have no claim for the admission as per the rank. The above mentioned clause is also applicable for pass out candidates.
e.g.: For B.Tech the candidate has to secure pass mark including in each of the following subjects - Physics, Mathematics and any one of the subject as mentioned in section 2.1 (a).
